Ok finished refugium curing before I add the water, sand, LR, chaeto and plumbing.
Once it has all this and is in place I will take a finished photo also.

Dimensions are 12"x12"x30"

over flow is 6" with baffles in this order 6", raised, 9"
main part is 16"
return is 4.5" with baffles in this order 6", raised, 9"
All baffles are 3/4" separation

I am not sure if I have the overflow and return reversed but there were numerous ideas and plans out there bounce

Got delayed, I won't be able to install this until Monday night now do to NG duties. I plan to get the Chaeto Monday or Tuesday night from Matt (hopefully) and the LR from Jason same night, then I will post updated pictures fully setup.

looks like I will have to add an additional heater since my house I have my house temp set at 65 (winter settings (prefer 60)) at night and my tank has been dropping from 80 to 77 until the house warms back up to 70 at about 8am, then tank warms back up to 80 around 9am.

You should have burned at least three quarters in that amount of time!

here are some updated pics. I placed some floss in the second baffles to filter out the floating chaeto. This caused a slight water level drop in the return chamber but not to bad.

I'll try to make sure to keep you and jason in mind and never throw out chaeto again. :-)

Make sure you don't add too much water back in. I don't know how far it dropped and if you raised much but I'd hate to hear of an overflow if the power went out.

Sump looks good!

LOL, no I didn't add any water back in but I have a full inch to play with (about 2 gallons of extra space) We tested it and the water comes up to lower edge of the black trim with power off.
