Reef Angel Controller

Post by matt_longview on Mon 26 Dec 2011, 6:46 pm

Bought a Reef Angel Controller today. Generation 2 with all the standard accessories (Temp Probe, ATO Switches, pH Probe, 8 Relay Control Box), plus the following optional accessories: WiFi module, PWM Expansion Module (to control meanwell LED drivers), 2 additional Temp Sensors, Meanwell LED Driver Booster option).

I'm going to get the latest firmware from the google group when I get it and review it in a few weeks. I'm pretty excited about this bad boy!

"Houston, we have a problem"
Let me guess Matt, you are into coding?

I presume this will be the marine HAL for the frag system, looks like an awesome piece of kit, and spot on for having all the data correlated onto you comp/laptop.

I'm thinking about a Reef Lite controller and wondering about the programming etc
Now I know who to turn to when F:/workdammityou/head-desk-impact/meet@magnet@die/systemerror happens when I get finally get one and it plays up.

Haha... well yeti just so you know this post is basically me declaring that the F:/workdarnityou/head-desk-impact/meet@magnet@die/systemerror phase has begun! Hilarious by the way.

I've already started the research... and I already realize that this is going to be like LEDs. Read for a week (or more) having absolutely no clue what's going on and then finally... the Ah ha moment!
