in california going to make big order

I'm in California till Wednesday and will place a large order on Tuesday at 7:00pm so I can pick it up Wednesday morning. I checked with the airline and I can bring them on the plane so they will only be bagged for about 12 hours. Let me know some stuff yall want that is hard to get in Texas

Are prices that much cheaper than in TX? Because I certainly would be interested in a clam, a Duncan and an Aussie Flowerpot Coral (Goniopora sp) though the latter if available may be outside my wallets depth.

If you can let us know what they have etc ..... we may well exceed your hand luggage..... oh and a 120G Reef ready tank too ;-)

I would be interested in anything with Yellow in it.Like a Yellow hammer or some really nice chalices.

They have frags from 10-25 and colonys from 30-60. The colonys are big to like softball size. Cleaner shrimp 15 and peppermint shrimp 9 bucks. Will take some picks of some tanks tomorrow. I am getting several colonys of different things so if some people want some of the same I will frag it out cheap to cut cost and save on room

Clams are 30-50 depending on size the smallest I have seen is 3 inches

Ok sorry I got some peoples hopes up but the wife won't let me spend as much as I thought I could. I will be getting a few corals though so i will frag what I get if some people want the same. I will post list when I get back home. Sorry again

So good thing I wasn't able to get a lot because the airline wouldn't let me check them after I had called 3 days earlyer and was told how to package to there standards. Anyways I now have 200 bucks worth of fish and frags in California at my inlaws sitting in bags. I also found that when I got home the friend of my wife's that house sat for us never topped of my tanks nor did she ever turn the lights off above the tanks. I now have 6 discuss that are black with no slime coat due to stress. I also have a green sw tank that is at 61 degrees because heater is in the sump but not enough water to overflow into the sump. I will get everything under control before I go to bed but I will probably be sleeping on the couch tonight because I told my wife her friend is not to set foot in yard or house ever again.

Hell Aaron, that's a terrible end to a holiday. I hope you have been able to calm the Discus, and that the holder of the bags can find a way to set the frags etc up in clean water, and then ship them safely.
Sorry your Christmas vacation had to end so badly.

I would have them return the frags and then pay that company shipping or ask for a refund. As you've already learned, people who don't have a tank of their own just are not cut out to take care of these guys. I learned the first time I went out of town that non-reef buddies just were not going to watch my tank. Try to get someone from the forums here to help you out... and... get some ATOs! I hope everyone makes it and that in the end it was just a big hassle for you rather than a loss. Good luck, keep us updated!

Tanks are now stable and discus are showing some color. The fish and frags in California were taken by my mother in law to a reef store were they got fresh water and pure oxygen and are being shipped today. I had to give up my full grown fox face and a full grown gold banded clown to be able to ship the rest.
