KFennel Live Rock, Corals & Fish

I figured I'd start a group buy thread for KFennel's livestock that's listed in the for sale section.

It's tough to do this without a list from the seller, but we've asked so many times I figured I'd try to do the work for him. So, let's try to break this down so that it'll be cheap for everyone involved if we happen to be able to pull it off! If we get close enough to the total price I'll try to cover the rest and get the rest. I have no idea how much stuff there really is here, and I'm not listing the SPS because that's personally what I'm after. Sorry! Sadly if we don't get close enough we'll have to let it all slide. :-(

I'm going to go through his album and list everything I can see with a price. I'm going to go for less than half what I'd see them in a store for. My knowledge of coral prices is very limited... especially softies/palys. LPS and SPS I'm somewhat familiar with, but if I'm off on anything please let me know... once again... just trying to do some work to actually help this happen.

Let's do live rock at $1.50 a pound. Let me know how many pounds you'd like to get.

Sadly I'm trying to do this without having a single clue as to how much stuff there actually is here. Everything that I listed here (400lbs of live rock, & all coral listed) equals $925 So there's still $175 to cover... but the SPS is worth more than that so this stuff is listed a touch higher possibly. If more people go in and we find out there is more stuff we can drop the prices. I just know that without an exact list and some exact prices we're never going to get this off the ground!

I would be wanting some rock, I'm just not sure of the size to weight ration, so I'm guessing between 20 & 40 lbs, sorry I can't be more accurate.

I work this Saturday, and am off Sunday (which I know is a busy day for you), but if you were going to go over on Sunday I'd ride over with you and split the gas.

I'm likely headed over on Friday. I believe we can setup enough temporary housing until Saturday or Sunday though.

No problem Yeti! Me and my wife are headed over there anyways to shop during the day, so we'll just stick around until the evening and head over there then. I'm still not sure we'll be able to pickup the whole package! We'll still have to see.

Once he's off work I'm going to get him on the phone and get a more accurate list. If anyone sees fish in the pics that you're interested in let me know and get a similar price. My plan currently is to pick up friday evening, drop off to folks in Marshall on my way back and people in Longview Friday night. Then we'll try to get EVERYTHING else picked up on Saturday or Sunday. I don't have any long term tanks setup for much of this!

I will take the Lobo (4 heads) also.

Still nothing guys... it's so frustrating!

I did finally hear from him guys. The pics in the album weren't current so some of those items were already gone. I talked to him only 10 minutes before leaving the house to head towards Shreveport so I didn't have anything prepped to pick up 400 lbs of rock and thousands in fish and coral. I asked if he was willing to part out so that a few of us could pick and choose the things that we knew we wanted and he said no.

Sorry I couldn't make it work! :-(

It's fine that just gives me more time to save up some more cash.

Ok guys and gals. I was able to get in touch with Kevin today and His last deal backed out so I made him an offer. I sent him a deposit on pay pal for all the livestock he has left. I will be going to pick everything up on Saturday thanks to the help of Jason. Anyone still interested in a getting some of this let me know and we can figure out some prices once I figure out what all is there. I am not looking to make anything off this except a few corals and maybe a couple fish. The quicker I can move it and recoup my $ the cheaper it will be. You can getvplenty of references from other members about me if you need any. Everything will be 1st come 1st serve.
