Hello Everyone!

I need advice on re-sealing a 50 gallon FW tank. All four corners were chewed by some type of rodent (eewwwhh). When I went to the scammers house to look at the aquarium he claimed the electricity was off so I couldnt see very well since he wouldnt allow me to come before dark. I know, I know, but I didnt know the electricity was off until after I drove from Kilgore to Troup. Evil or Very Mad

Anyway, what is the best silicon to use and where can I get the silicon in that you use with the gun. I have some from Petsmart but it is squeeze type and I dont think my bead will be solid enough with that type and I need more than they have available.

Does anyone know anybody that might do this on the side for a small fee? Question

Any advise is welcomed. Thanks.

Fee..LOL! It's really not that bad... work yes, but not too bad. There is only one commercial grade silicone that I know you can use safely that isn't marked "Aquarium Safe". HomeDepot or Lowes will have it in the big tubes..
GE Silicone 1 That "1" or "I" is very IMPORTANT. All the other silicone products can/ will create problems by leaching out unwanted chemicals.

yep, I can do this! I have a .... oh ....I 'd say about 50 gallon tank with thinker glass than either of my 55 gallon tanks. I really like it bc it is almost square and thats the one that needs to be re-sealed.

thanks so much!
