Just wondering I have a cascade 700 canister filter system with 3 racks inside if I put the GFO in the middle rack and filters on the other 2 would this work as a improvised reactor?

Gfo needs to tumble so it needs to be in a container that allows it to move around some without getting out of the container. Check out the video on bulkreefsupply.com it explains it well. If the Gfo doesnt tumble it forms a sold block.

I have an idea for a GFO reactor that I will be working on this weekend. So far it has cost me $7 from Wal-Mart, will be putting a build thread together if it works. Should cost about $15-20. Will keep you posted for sure.
