It was already loose. It was in my 75 on the back glass and I scraped it off and just tossed it in my 20 gal. On a side note I've been trying to get all the mushrooms out of my 75 and I'm not having much luck at all. There was a patch of those green ones that I epoxied over and now they are all sticking out the side of the epoxy. There was also about 3 big blue ones that I scraped out with a razor blade and now there are about 6 new ones there.
I think I'm going to look into building a zapper.

I tried it, didn't work for me. I did get one to detach from the rock but that's about it.

Strange! They dissolve quickly for me. Are you shutting down all your pumps during treatment? I leave the pumps off for about 30 minutes to give the X time to work.

Yes. I've been doing it on Sunday mornings when I turn all the pumps off and do my tank cleaning. It does make them disappear into the rocks but they are back within a day or two. I hit my aiptasia at the same time and it works well on those but the shrooms just get mad.

can you cover em up with epoxy when the shrink inside the rock?

I did that too. Now I have a patch of epoxy with green mushrooms sticking out the side.
