Recently aquired a used one seems to grow softies fairly well don't have much experience yet though

is it loud?? I just ordered a white one and waiting for it to come in. I have read reviews that it is loud? does it seem to be loud to you?

ours runs very quiet but we have the upgraded skimmer and filter tray.

We have an air filter in our bedroom and it doesn't seem much louder, We also have an upgraded skimmer but ours is RSM brand

does the tank over heat if you do not have a chiller???

No chiller no problem as of now, we keep our house pretty cool though
