SW Breeding
Has anyone ever tried breeding any of the SW fish. Cardinals, mandarins, or perculas/ Just curious as to how difficult it is. I may give it a go one day soon.

Lol. I've never bred anything in my tank but from reading the cardinals seem to be the easiest. You just have to get them in their own tank so they don't get eaten. In the wild the babies will hide in a long spine urchin so some people get one for the tank the babies are raised in or make a fake urchin for them to hide. I don't think they need as small of a food as clown fry do. As far as mandarins, I think ORA is the only one with tank bred mandarins and they currently only breed the target mandarins. I've always wanted to try but I have a bangaii cardinal and I have no idea if it's male or female so it would be hard to find a mate for it. They sell paired bangaiis on Diver's Den a lot.

Re: SW Breeding
That was wrong but funny Daniel!!
My clowns spawn all the time but we have never separated them to raise the fry. They say clowns are easy to breed because they change sex. (I can see the comments coming on that one!) You simple buy three and remove the one that gets isolated. The two remaining become your mated pair. Not sure about the other species.

Re: SW Breeding
LOL kinda left myself open for that I guess.
I would love a piar of the black and white Perculas and try to get them to spawn. Think it would be pretty kewl. That is if they are able to. I have not done alot of research on them as of yet.
