That wasn't meant to be directed at you Daniel. It was definitely meant to show that I realized you were referring to me, but I would never say or consider that someone who has several years of experience in something that I'm just starting in as dumb.

I'm sorry that I said something that would seem to suggest that you were dumb or lower than me in any way. It does frustrate me when people act like they know it all, and I don't see you doing that in any way on this forum. I know I make a lot of posts on this board but I definitely don't think I know everything... or even a lot. Most of my posts are actually questions or if they answer a question are a link to an article written by an expert.

My lone "LEDs are better" post from 20 minutes ago was for fun. When we were having that discussion earlier I stayed back and didn't make any bold claims... keeping the conversation very civil. BigBlue actually thought that I was possibly offended because of my response. So I thought I would jump right in on this one and help Donnie represent the LEDs all in the name of fun.

Sorry once again.

Ahhhhh. See... when I posted that LED post I literally thought to myself... I hope nobody takes this wrong... and then you posted in there and came straight here and said newbie with a small tank. I thought... well that's got to be me!

Let's be honest... it's only a matter of time before you guys get sick of me right? lol

Not me Matt! I like the discussions. It Sparks my interest and then I am off researching again. I love to research, it's engrained in me from my education and profession. This is the way the "newbies" learn also; following our discussions. Don't stop posting!!

Agreed! There's always something more to learn about this hobby and places like this is how I learn more. One of the things that I like about reef keeping is that there is a lot of mystery and unknown involved. There is no set way to do any of this and I enjoy seeing the way everyone gets different results from different methods. No one has to worry about hurting my feelings and I hope no gets offended by what I say so if something comes off the wrong way it's probably just from reading into text. It's hard to express intent by typing. I get a lot of spare time at work so I have nothing else to do but put my 2 cents in. Smile Ever heard the comedian Steven Wright? "Why is it a penny for your thoughts but you have to put your 2 cents in? Somebody is making a penny".

If you are refering to Kevin, it is a business, just because it is in his house he still has to abide by the rules. He has a business license.

No biggie never know till ya go. Prices seemed high to me and the other member i went with and just seemed kinda rude i dunno ppl do have off days. But 8.00 a lb for live rock was not worth it. Then to bring rocks out of the yard with dirt and leaves on em and ask 45 bucks for 3 pieces ... Cant see where that came from but owell! Still have a good time and ate great food!
