Snorkeling in Florida

Post by J.Davis on Tue 03 Jul 2012, 10:28 pm

Had a spectacular time this morning. Showed my favorite snorkeling spot to JayW and his brother in law. TONS of fish! Wrasses galore. Black Angels with blue tipped tails, huge gobies. Blue & yellow damsels... and new this time was anemones. Beautiful teal and green ones. Urchins... bunches of them. Will be bring a few things back :-)

I would have swapped you my 10 days in the UK, where it rained, was grey skies, rained, was coldish, rained, did I mention the rain? For just a few days snorkeling in FL. Glad you're having a good time.

Well tomorrow morning will be the last outing. I'll pick up sand today, then fireworks this evening. Early morning snorkeling then back on the road. Really wish I had an underwater camera... the spot is amazing. So much variety and beauty. No corals, but tons of life reguardless.
