Most of the epoxy putties are safe. I have used mighty putty many times to attach hard corals to rocks under water. Walgreens carries the mighty putty, I just bought some a few days ago, its like $10.00 for three containers. If you cant find it ask a clerk because they do carry it.

Super glue works too. Just don't glue yourself to it!

I have used the loctite super glue gel on a frag. Put a good ball on it and quickly
Took it to its home on a rock underwater. The outerlayer skins but once I smoosh
It into place uncured glue comes out and sticks to the rock. Only done it three times.
But all 3 have had good results.

Super glue gel works better but regular is fine.

Place a small amount on your frag plug then dip it in the water where it'll start to harden . When it gets gummy , position the frag then hold it underwater until the glue solidifies enough that the frag won't move before placing it on the rock.

Try not to make a " bowl" of glue . Leave one side open for growth ( especially for zoas and other softies ). IME , they won't readily grow over the glue.
