Newbie w/ 250g: In the beginning
Hello All,
I'm in Houston, TX and found this forum while searching for a PM Bullet 2 skimmer. I've had fresh water tanks all my life and always heard if you want salt water, best to go big. So I decided to start with the following 250g, my blank canvas sort of speak. In the following weeks/months I'll be bargain shopping for components. Still deciding on whether to go reef or fish focused, but leaning more on exotic fish that tend to eat coral.

Welcome and with a tank that deep I agree with Win, going to need some stout lights only if your going to go reef/corals. Fish only you have more room for lighting types.

Re: Newbie w/ 250g: In the beginning
Thanks for the warm welcome :-) I just got hold of the following wet/dry which is almost perfect size for footprint I was looking to maximize. It was suggested I top off the bio balls. Plan will be plugging holes based on layout configuration. Looking to include external PM Bullet 2 with it's own turbo pump cycling on side of wet-dry. I can't see going with anything other than quality LED for lighting.
I'll post future updates in the Build section.
