OK, so bc my water is now awesome thanks to J.D. I was wondering if I could add like little decorations. I hand picked some shells from the Pacific a couple of weeks ago. I kept them in a tub of regular water for like 3 days to make sure that all the sand and other stuff came out. In addition, I also found some smooth rock and some lava rock that I hand picked from the ocean too. Well they were in the tide pools etc etc...but anyways is it safe to add the shells and some rock for décor..or should I just play it safe and keep everything away?

As long as it was directly from the ocean, I don't see why not. I would avoid any store bought trinkets.. never know what they may have been coated with or made of. I would watch them for strange algae growth, and remove them if you see anything.
