Coolest hanging lights?
Hey guys and gals.
I want to hang lights above my 200gal stingray tank to leave the top open for petting/viewing access. No live rock, no corals. Just live sand and three rays.
Wanted suggestions for cool looking fixtures and lighting adequate for a 48x48 tank.
Aaaaaand go!

Re: Coolest hanging lights?
I'd hang 2 dimmable led fixtures over it and adjust them to the color you want. You're not trying to grow anything so hang them high, get lots of coverage and get a good shimmer. Maxspect razors have a ramp up/ramp down feature so you could get different color combos through out the day and you'd get different looks depending on what time of day it is. Hang them with Sunlift hanging yoyos so you can move them up or down as needed or wanted.
A couple 250w or 400w Radium metal halides would look great too.
The Kessil fixtures would be the most sleek and least noticeable of most lighting options. They have a nice shimmer and great color.
