I've read up on them some but not much. I read they need to be in a tank at least 24 in tall if I remember correctly. I'd like to get a pair myself for my 37 tall. Anyone know of their reef compatibility?

Yes they do. I've read that they almost have to be species only tank. They require very low flow and very peaceful inhabitants with them as well as excellent water conditions to thrive. In addition some species require specific temperatures and salinity.

Here's a link to some of the basics. I looked into it when I first started my saltwater tank because of course my daughter loved them when she saw them.

The entire website www.seahorse.org has quite a lot of useful information, you might check it out.

Yeah... after reading all of that I remember why I decided to forget about keeping them. I want my tank to be built around the corals and fish to be picked later... not the other way around. lol

Always wanted to but never tried to build a tank for them. Exotic used to have a nice little seahorse setup when they were on the north side of town.
