Today at the TCA Swap-Meet
Hey guys, thought I'd post an update on the Swap-Meet, the wife and I spent a little time this afternoon and drove down to Irving to check it out. I wasn't looking at anything in particular but ended up leaving with a nice group of pygmy cories (6), a snowball pleco, and a lemon spotted green pleco! If the swap meet is any indication I'd say the Auction is going to be pretty interesting! Here are a few pics I snagged a couple hours ago ---
The six pygmy are just under an inch long and are going to be permanent residents of the fry tank since they aren't going to get much larger
Snowball's a little over two inches and will be in the fry tank until I feel it's a threat to the tinier residents (probably about 4~1/2")
Green's about 4 inches at the moment and can't wait to see him get full grown!!

You haven't missed the auction yet, I'd say that's when you'll see the really good stuff anyway. Not to say I didnt see a decent variety of quality wares at the meet... I set a budget of one benjamin, didn't spend it all but didn't want to go over my limit either >_<

Re: Today at the TCA Swap-Meet
not as much damage as i figured... i know alot of those uncommon plecos are rediculously expensive... like they want one of your first born for a blue eyed panache pleco lol...
wouldnt mind a gold nugget or mango, or a king tiger

Re: Today at the TCA Swap-Meet
No doubt I got a deal on them, would recommend checking out the next TCA event if they're looking to pick up some new fish. I didn't see anything of notable size though, all LF's were definitely adolescents.

Re: Today at the TCA Swap-Meet
It was a great turnout for the first swap meet of the TCA. I was able to pick a good used fluval 404 for 30$ & an Emperor 280 for 12$. I didn't buy any fish, am waiting for the auction, May 1st. I encourage everyone to come to the auction, they're loads of fun!
