WTB Emerald Crabs
Alright guys,
I'm looking to get some emerald crabs to beef up my cleaning crew and hopefully take care of some valonia. If you guys have any other suggestions for bubble algae control (other than manual removal, I'm all over that one) let me know.
Thanks,
Cameron

Yeah 65 gallon tall, not really ideal for scopus... I suppose if I bought small and sent to person with larger tank... anybody game?

I've heard of a foxface eating that stuff but I think they will eat everything else too.

Re: WTB Emerald Crabs
I would not recommend an emerald crab if you have SPS corals. I purchased one to take care of some bubble algae and it preferred my birds nest over the bubble algae. It cleaned a good part of a soft ball size colony in about a half day.

Re: WTB Emerald Crabs
Well, I'm looking for the emeralds because I had them before, but when the valonia ran out they died. It was all they would eat. I have a small amount of maidens hair they didnt touch and the didnt touch algae sheets either. but they did a great job with the bubble algae

Re: WTB Emerald Crabs
emeralds love coraline its funny i will watch them go right past hair algae and onto my rocks with coraline sea hares work great even seen them wipe out bubble agae. They can be destructive though so if you dont have everything mounted securely on your rock expect cave ins. They are short lived to bout 3 months is the most i ever kept one.
