Chalice Frags? Empty Chalice Frags?

Post by matt_longview Sat 26 Mar 2011, 3:45 pm

Has anyone received many chalice frags?

Are they fairly hardy? Do they really have to be in low light? (I'm realizing that I really don't have a low light or low flow area in my tank!) How adaptable are they?

This is one of the few corals I've never tried. I've been looking to get one though. I just can't pay a ton of money for one little eye.

I'm getting single eye frags from these two colonies as part of payment for redesigning this website. He was valuing them at $50 per eye, which after looking around seems fair.

I'm just trying to make sure that a few months from now I have 2 eyes instead of 0! lol. If anyone finds some good articles on them let me know. I'm searching around for more info. :-)

my chalice is under 250w mh and 2 54w t5's about 10" below waterline.

I have 2 koralia 1050 evo's and a quiet one 3000 return pump.

its growing great and seems to be very happy.

hope that helps
