You can make your own rock..
It takes 3-6 to cure
Im currently making some rock for when I upgrade

if your making that rock from concrete, your going to run into ph issues down the road guranteed.

How far the road do you mean?
Because I have 2 pieces of DIY rock in my tank and they are the ones with the most Coraline.
My tank has been running for 5 months

a few pieces might not make that much of an impact, but i know a guy on another forum that did a whole lot of it, and it looks great, except its too alkaline for anything to live in the tank...

Garf.org has been making their own rock for years, I think there is a page on there dedicated to making rock.
