Re: volitan/clown
Thanks Matt. I just received a 18" snowflake eel in trade for some frags from Eric in Tyler. It's sweet! Got it in my sump right now. Will move it over soon. Thanks Eric.

Re: volitan/clown
Just FYI, Tony :
Lionfish aren't really all that "aggressive". They'll eat anything small enough to fit in their mouth but they can be bullied by more dominant fish. I had a volitans whose antennae were clipped by a niger trigger 1/2 his size.

I spent my time with Lionfish years ago to, I raised many of them in my 110. I used to get em little and raise them up and sell them to a fella in Longview. I had a couple get so big they could just barely turn around in the 110, they were huge. A friend of mine and his Wife loved them and put together a tank just for Lionfish, she used to feed em by hand until one stung her in the finger, it wasn't that bad, hurt a little she said but it was a small Dwarf that got her, needless to say she stopped the hand feeding.

Re: volitan/clown
I had a small volitan for a short period of time. If I was going to get another for a smaller tank I would get a fu manchu. I almost bought one for my 37 before I decided to take the tank down.

Re: volitan/clown
Yeah, I agree Gabe, that or a fuzzy dwarf, the Volitans get really big and pack a hell of a sting, I was actually pretty affraid of some of the ones I had they were so big and the bigger they get the more venom they have.
