Very cool. I can't wait till my kids get old enough to be able to swim, i'll have a pool for sure. We had one the whole time I was growing up and I loved it!

How deep's the pool ? Is it all liner or do you have that guinite (sp?) stuff in the bottom ?

My wife actually picked that lion, NOT ME. The pool is 28 ft. across and it has a 3 1/2 foot shallow end and a 8 ft. deep end. I looked into those gunite pools but they were out of my price range. It has a vermiculite bottom but it has a liner over the top of that.

Nice pool , really. I'm still tryin' to decide between one of those or a jacuzzi / hot tub . I could probably see the water moccasins better in the hot tub.

I'm a little worried about that myself. I've got 4 lakes and ponds right around my house so we already have to deal with snakes often. We didn't even have the pool filled all the way and it was surrounded by frogs.

You mean that's not your entry for the Nano competition? I'm certain that there was something mentioned about a larger tank being permitted if it were outdoors!
