Had to do it. Rolling Eyes

I adopted a rescue Siberian today. Approximately 6 month old male , silver and white
with one brown and one blue eye. Former "owner" left town and turned the dog out to fend for himself. He suffered a broken leg from a passing car and the piece of chit didn't even bother taking him to the vet. Evil or Very Mad

A neighbor got him to my vet . They had to re-break the leg and fix the damage then they called me. Fat chance I would have turned him down after losing my pair within the last year. I've named him "Loki" 'cause I'm sure he's going to get in a lot of trouble ( heck , the cast hasn't slowed him down a bit) .

Now if y'all will excuse me ; I have a 9 pound Rat Terrier and a 30 pound Siberian playing tag in the living room. It's gonna be a long night.

Well, got home today and the house wasn't in need of major repair. That's excellent ( for those of you who've never had a husky). I don't intend to keep him as a house dog . I have a small air-conditioned storage room off the back yard where he'll eventually stay but I can't turn on the electric fence running around the back yard chain link until it rains . Way too dry here. sunny
