Yea... how cool is that! Yes, it comes with a remote control. Dim the "Blues" or "Whites"... or both from your LazyBoy recliner..LOL. I ran it a few days, playing around with it. Just too cool for me. I'm thinking I would need 15 more over my 8ft., 200g tank. $65 and you'll be the coolest kid on the block afro

This PAR38 bulb comes with 6x 1 watt Blue at 450 nm and 6x 1 watt LED in white at 15000K. Each LED is mounted with a 30 degree Collimated lens. Each color is dimmable by using a provided remote control.

Who made it?

As with most LED bulbs & fixtures, I'm almost certain it 's Chinese. This light would be suitable for a smaller Nano... and not cost you an arm & leg. Orphek's 2w dimmable version goes for $200 and doesn't come with a remote.

Ah, yes, I am looking for 3 Cree Par38 bulbs for a maxi/mini & gorgonia tank. Like the rapidLED bulb for 90.

I actually am having a thought about getting a pico tank going and building a canopy and installing a par lamp in it. I might look at this once i find the right tank and build the stand and canopy

Great seeing you guys again. Corals are in their respective tanks, LED lamp is hung, more space is cleared out and Kel is LOVING the par lamp. already spent a good hour just playing with the dimming feature.

Looking forward to seeing how the corals react going from a 2x 11W t5 to a par38 bulb (even if they are 1W LEDs)

No stupid question, our sponsors sell coral... Jeff @ Lonestar Aquatics sells fish & coral. On " Rare Occassions" I order coral &/or fish... but only do it on special orders. I don't keep fish in stock. May sell some of my personal fish.. and I grow coral. Hope that helps.

J.Davis - What Tony didn't mention is the mantis I'm looking for... :-)
Top 2 - Odontodactylus Havanensis, Gonodactylus Smithii
Next 2 that I've found that stay relatively small - Neogonodactylus Curacaoensis and Gonodactylus Chiragra (Pookie)((He is probably on my lower end only because i don't want to have to have another large tank, and I read they are ones that can break glass like a Peacock even tho they stay smaller))
