The Zoa Garden ...
Wow.. Really? I'm afraid so. Obtaining medical insurance for my kids is rediculously exspensive but necessary. Getting another job with benefits has become a reality. I won't be able to do both. I still have my current Fish and equiptment inventory and will need to liquidate. I will however continue to sell coral on the side, minimum upkeep. Saltwater yard sale to follow.

Oh hell Jason, I'm really sorry to hear that news.
Good luck then with finding the right job, and managing to find time to keep the business running small scale on the side.

Dang Jason, just when we were getting a decent fish-coral store, but I do understand, making a living strickly from this hobby is hard to do. Hope you find that good job in this sucky economy, best of luck to you my friend.

WELL, Jason I am really sorry. I think it was the best saltwater store, I have seen recently. I came back from Dallas Monday after being disappointed, planning all the stuff I would buy through you, so I will certainly be a customer as long as you will have me. Need more shrimp and some frags this weekend. Maybe the mandaran. Let me know also about the yard sale- maybe a personal email. i also will pay for you to come look at my setup and help with ideas. Re: The Zoa Garden ...
What a week it's been. Thanks for all the kind words, I really enjoy having you guys stop by... not just as customers, but fellow hobbists and friends. Got my resume' on the right desk.. keep your fingers crossed. Between ETAK, Craigslist and friends... I've mananged to sell almost all my fish stock including the 180RR set-up in my shop. Looks like I'll have a nice 75g set-up for sell soon (took in trade). Plus a "Ton" of other equiptment. The success I've had this week has been real encourging to continue doing this on the side. Corals for sure, maybe custom order fish too. I'll do it if time permits. Working on my new coral prop tank.. hope to have it set-up and filled with coral this week. Thanks again for all the ETAK support!

Re: The Zoa Garden ...
"Closing" wasn't the best description, but I did need to scale back significantly. Just trying to keep it managable while still working a 40hr week job. As you know, there's a learning curve with starting any business.
