Saw your pic of a frag rack made of egg crate and plastic clothes hangers. How did you melt the ends of the hangers ? DFQ , I know, but I'm worried about getting plastic all over my iron.
I tried a small suction cup mounted soap dish but it won't stay attached.

No DFQ...just DFP that ask questions. Joking of course.
I used a cigarette lighter. I heated it slowly and bent it slowly. The plastic tends to have some "memory" and bends back the way it was but if you bend it where you want and run it under cold tap water it freezes it in place. I cut the hanger with wire cutters so the hook that's on the hanger is the top part so I didn't have to bend two different hooks.

After experimenting with a candle and wiping melted plastic out of my sink for an hour , I believe I've hit on an acceptable alternative.
I used the bottom rod of the hangar ( not the actual hook) : scored it with a knife and snapped it . This gave me two long pieces with hooks on one end. I then used zip ties at the end of each section to secure the eggcrate . Not only does this keep me from catching the house on fire but I can also adjust the depth of the rack if need be.

Well that works too. My hangers didn't drip any plastic though. Maybe it's a different type of plastic. It was really an experiment since I couldn't come up with anything else laying around the house that would work. The ends of them turned a little black but the plastic didn't drip and it worked out quite nicely except for the 25 mph winds outside that kept blowing out my lighter when I was doing it.
