This first meeting is pretty much so we can meet each other(meet & greet)
Wade McCullin (the guy that worked at Exotic fish) is going to be selling coral and will set tanks up at the meeting.

Sorry guys but the LEDs I ordered have will not get here for another week.. So no diy LED demo

No point touring my tank right now... it's just a bunch of frags! lol... give me a few months/years. :p
Maybe the "topic" of this meeting could be brainstorming ideas for future meetings.
I was thinking of an idea where anyone who wanted to take part could put in 5 or 10 bucks and we could purchase a particular coral with that money, hopefully a really rare limited edition kinda thing, and frag it up.
So for example, if this meeting we would choose to try for a Sunset Monti then anyone interested would put in $10. If we get 10 people we can buy a $100 colony and frag it up into 10 pieces. If we don't get enough people at the meeting... take your money back at the end and call it good. We could try for one of those a meeting.

I like that idea. I've also wanted to do a growth contest just for fun. Maybe take a easy to grow sps, frag it up and see who can grow it out best. Maybe start out with one inch sticks and let everyone do their thing and see what happens. I think it would be interesting to see the results and everyone gets a cheap or free frag.
