I just got a Neptune apex jr aqua controller, but
I don't know how to connect it to wifi I don't have any
Ethernet ports near to my aquarium.

Most will use a wireless gaming adapter. They're getting less common to find though.

How do you go on from there? Once you
connect it to a gaming adapter how do you
connect the controller to the network?

I've never done this on an apex jr, so I won't have all the answers here... But.

First of all. Do NOT get a wireless adapter that plugs in via usb and attempt to plug that in. It may fry your apex. Get a wireless adapter that uses ethernet.

Once you've plugged in your wireless adapter your apex is set to automatically aquire it's own ip if you have an open network. If your network is not open you may have to go into the settings and add a password for your wireless network.

It would likely be easiest to hook it up to ethernet, then use your computer to change any settings.

Follow the manual here. Let us know any specific questions you've got from there.
