10gal light hood
Im setting up a 10 gallon fresh water tank by request for my baby girl....only problem is my 10 gallon set up has been put up for such a long time i guess the light fixture went bad....was wondering if anybody had one laying around they don't want anymore.....

If its a flourescent hood its likely the fs22 bulb starter. Cheap fix

It is a fluorescent fixture is that the little block thing with the wires sticking out of it.....i opened it and it looks melted....can i find this peace at lowes or something...

Sounds like it's your ballast. If that's the case, it will be cheaper to replace the hood itself. If you can read the part #, google it.

Yea that's exactly what i was told....better off just replacing the whole thing....thank for the help though....
