Hey All Empty Hey All

Just wanted to say a big hello to everyone. I am new to this forum, but not to fish. At the moment my main interest is African Cichlids, specifically the larger hap species. I have been breeding mouthbrooders for nearly 5 years and consider myself somewhat knowledgeable on the subject. Recently I had a few spawns from my angelfish pair so I have been dabbling there too. I have also been known to DIY stuff . . . in fact most of my stuff is DIY. Guess I'm too cheap to actually buy stuff. Anyway there's a little about me.

Welcome... Not new to fish keeping, but new to Africans. Used to think angels were the best thing since sliced bread...all it took was 7 africans in my tank to change my mind on that one!!!!

I am planning oon posting a pic of my current setup if I can ever get a good pic. My camera sucks!

Nice BG. I remember seeing you on CF a while back. Being TOTM is quite an honor over there. They have a lot of members and entry's. I am also planning on doing a styro BG someday, but I have been putting it off because the tank is already going and I haven't been ambitious enough to deal with temp housing for all the fish, and the cure process seems like a PITA. . . someday though.

Yeah, I was kinda floored when it won TOTM, it was an honor, like you said, there were a lot of folks on that board and lots of entries and to actually win was very cool. I miss my Cichlids but reefs have always been my passion. When you can send pic.s
