Tony
The pics just don't do it justice man, I love that tank and especially that giant Elegance in the center. I'm still looking forward to that frag we discussed, I got a nice spot picked out for it. I would love to have another Elegance but it would reak havoc in my little tank.

What is that black/white fish at the bottom of the tank. Looks like a fresh water fish; Molly.

It is a dalmation molly. You can convert them to saltwater
Re: 120 gallon reef 4x2x2
Seriously?? How do you go about doing that?

You slowly add saltwater from your tank into the container the molly is in
Over like a few days
There are a lot of fish you can convert. I converted a Green Spotted Puffer and 2 mollies
Re: 120 gallon reef 4x2x2
WOW! That is awesome. I would like to try that.

Re: 120 gallon reef 4x2x2
You cant do it with any fish, they have to be a brackish fish. Like Jose said just take your time and SLOWLY acclimate them to a reef environment. I started with 3 mollies and the 2 females didnt make the acclimation.
Donnie,
Thanks for the nice comments. I really like it too. I think I may have that frag ready in a week or so. It is really looking good now that it has settled in with the rest of the stuff.

I acclimated fiddler crabs to saltwater to feed to my mantis. I think you can do it with guppies too.

Re: 120 gallon reef 4x2x2
One of these days, I will grow a pari and setup a salt water tank... then I see tanks like yours... and become very intimidated

Re: 120 gallon reef 4x2x2
Got a few new pieces today. Will post pics tomorrow. 2 purple Croceas and a purple Maxima. Also got about 10 nice pieces of SPS. All are small colonies or have large encrusting bases.
Thanks for the nice comments. You guys are welcome to come check it out any time. I have a few frags if interested.

I will try and get some pics tomorrow. They are not capturing the color very well at all. I will play with the settings and see what I can come up with.
