Does anyone know where to get some small (10#) bags of white portland cement, and a small bag of crushed shells (Puca Shells). I can find the 100# bags of stuff but I'm don't need NEAR that much. Any help would be appreciated.
Oh yeah, who sells salt rock. Couldn't find any today.

+1 on DIY live rock. Been doing my own for years and prefer it over real stuff. The white portland waont be at any of your normal hardware stores. I was able to have a ready mix plant order me a few bags of it. O and rock slat is good but so its a large grained epsom salt.

Hey Tony. I gave that diy live rock a go after you mentioned it that day. Lol, I guess i will leave that to the people who know what they are doing. Mine looked like poo. I havent had a chance to get back to you. I got my t5 I needed. Was wondering if you still wanted to get rid of those banded shrimp?

Most people dry stack there DIY rock like Garf does so your mix needs to be reather dry. Ignore the water/protland/sand ratios and go by feeling if you use this method.

OK Portland Bill is a small island/rock linked to Dorset, a county in the south coast of England, where 8 families lived way back yonder.
The island used to have 8 families living on it as I recall, the Brown, Jones, Stones, Otters, two others and the Yeatman's, my middle name, passed down from generation to alternate generation.
So now you know why I am Yeti.
