Natures beauty from my Deer stand!

Post by DonnieP on Thu 10 Nov 2011, 9:25 pm

Even with the drought this year the trees are really cool and full of color.

Took this this afternoon!

More pics!

Good looking pics Donnie. Your spot is totally different than mine. Before the leaves fall you can hardly see in some places.

We have a pipeline/high line that runs completely around our place but I don't hunt out there much. They haven't bush hogged that high line in years either and it's all tall grass. The pipeline is cut but on the high line side there are old power lines down that they don't even bother to pick up.

They don't ever cut mine either, I have a friend that cuts it for me and we plant my green patch, we finally got enough rain to get it to come up and the deer are loving it. I saw four bucks this afternoon, one was a biggun but I wasn't ready to use my tag on him yet because I got that one with the drop tine running around up there somewhere. Hunting is tough right now but it will get good when that blasted full moon is gone around Thanksgiving will be good.
