1. You can get Berghia Nudibranchs, copperband butterfly, Peppermint shrimp or bristle-tailed filefish keeps them in check.

2. kalkwasser paste ,put it into a syringe and blow it on them, the aptasia swallows it and then dies,it melts away. (ensure you turn off pumps and filters and leave them off for 5-10 mins) WARNING!! possible burning of other local corals!!!!!! depending on the KALK mixture.

There are a few others out there like Joe's juice, the hot water, lemon juice and about 3-4 more.

I would prefer one of the first options if possible, but an initial treating of KALK with the addition of one critters mentioned in suggestion #1 might be the way to go if you already have it growing.

All you gotta do is go to a pharmacy or feed store and pick up a large 50 cent syringe, boil you a little water in a pan, sit the pan next to the tank draw up some in the syringe and stick the needle down in the hole it is in and inject the hot water, gurantee it will never open again, simple, just plain ole FREE water. No need to buy or use chemicals in the tank. Please post back and let us know how it went.

You can find the needles at a pharmacy, a feed store, a veterinarians office. I get mine at haynes feed store here in Marshall, for injecting horses. You need the needle to inject the hot water into the base of the Aiptasia, it distroys it instantly. just squirting the water on it will not work.
