Considering Copperband Butterfly
I'm really wanting to get a Copperband Butterfly. Has anyone had any experience with these?

It's an awesome fish and if you decide to keep one keep us updated on the progress. I would be interested in following along.

I would definately fear for my SPS. I have heard that they are nippers.

I've heard that and also read that as well. But I've seen them in several reef tanks with SPS. I guess I'll find out. I'm also looking at getting a Leopard Wrasse, thay look awesome, my buddy in Houston just got one.

Only thing I can offer in addition is that they can be difficult to get to feed, when you find one, find out what it's been fed at the store. Even better ask to see it feeding?

Re: Considering Copperband Butterfly
Update: I picked up a great, healthy Copperband from Lone Star Aquariums last friday(Thanks Jeff). So far, so good. My sailfin wasn't happy with the addition but after a few hours he left him alone. The sailfin is still for sale as soon as I can catch him! I havn't seen the Butterfly eat mysis yet, but I think its do to the abundance of tiny feather dusters in my tank. He is going to town on them. I'm glad too, there are literally hundreds of tiny feather dusters. I'll post pics as soon as my laptop gets back from the shop.

He's eating frozen mysis shrimp! He wouldn't eat the San Francisco brand but as soon as I put the Piscine brand in he starting eating. Thought it was interesting. I'll get the pics up when I get my laptop back.
