Re: Building a 150RR
Nice work on the cabinet. I have to ask. Why the change from a 135G to a 150G?
Is it the removal of the overflow, so the tank will be tidier? As the tank looks great already, in my eyes.

Re: Building a 150RR
Thanks guys.
I did want to do away with the overflow and have always wanted a RR tank. Plus a few more gallons never hurts
I was looking around and Sean made me a deal I couldn't pass up.
I just finished adding the first coat of polyurethane and painting the back of the tank. I still have to build my canopy and when everything is finished it should stand right over 6ft. Thanks again for the cheato and helping load the tank in the truck. My neighbor was so happy to help me unload another huge tank when I got home. Tony I still want that frag pack I may just have to wait little bit before I get it or the wife may kill me after this new tank.

I'm looking forward to seeing the new set up, and the progression from Day 1.
Exciting times.

Sorry I haven't posted pics yet, I've been arranging coral tonight. Everything is doing great. The rock scape looks ok. I had to really try to hurry when I switched since this was a established system and I didn't want lose anything. Anyone that wants to come check it out is more then welcome just shoot me a pm or Text.

Tank looks great! Just wondering, how long did you spend on acclimatising the small child tang to your tank?

Re: Building a 150RR
Child tang? I've got a yellow tang, blue hippo, scopas tang, rabbit fish, 3 clowns and a file fish. All of the rock, fish, coral came from my 135 gallon which was running since august. When I transferred tanks they just went right into the 150 because ended up needing the water in holding that they were in. Luckily everyone did well on the move.
