is there anyway to clean the calcium/water marks on the sides of the tank where it looks foggy? i tried a sos pad but it didnt work,when the tank has water its perfectly clear and u cant see it but i dont wanna see it when its not full either

Next time use a vinegar solution with a soft cloth or algae scrubber . SOS pads can scratch your glass and you never want to use any kind of soap in a tank . Evil or Very Mad

You actually can use plain steel wool. I used to work at LOF where we made windshields and we used steel wool to polish fine scratches out of glass.

I picked up some muraitic acid for 140g!! I'll let you know how it does!! If it doesn't work, it going in the dumpster!!
