Re: some of my Cichlids
Beautiful Maleri Island - Orange side, one of my favorite Aulonocara. I'm actually looking for a male for breeding purposes.

Re: some of my Cichlids
It's a Aulonocara “ Rubescens” “Ruby Red” a young male. But I do have a Aulonocara sp. "Stuartgranti Maleri" (Maleri Is.) some pics next post
Re: some of my Cichlids
your ruby Rubescens looks completely orange in the first pic! Where'd you get your guys? I moved over SA/CA cichlids last year, but I still have a 90 with a few peacocks.
I'm looking to get a Maleri Island - Orange side male to mate with my tangerine tiger hap - they produce orange apache hybrids at about a 20% rate
"red" apache here:

The orange version comes out better - the color is lighter so you can still see the blue vertical lines under the orange. Beautiful, I wish I still had some pictures from my previous breeding group.
How big is your VC-10? is he coloring yet? (I think that's a VC-10 I see, I can only see the tail)
