Pink Skunk Clownfish turning aggressive?
Just wanted to get a few opinions on this. I have a Captive raised Pink Skunk Clownfish that I have had for 6 months now. I left my house for about 36 hours to come home to my hector's goby with his tail chewed off and marks on his sides. The only fish that wasn't hiding was my pink skunk. So taking a guess I would think he was the culprit. I just introduced a dwarf pygmy angel into the tank and he is chewed on now and the only one that chases him is the clown! Do they become more aggressive or show more dominance with age? Because outside of swooping up all the food he has never presented any problems.

The clown probably turned female and is protecting their area. How big is the tank?

55 gallon. With about 40lbs of live rock. Do you think it would be wise to trade her for some true percula clowns or do you think she might mellow out? My tank is non aggressive fish and coral.

I'd agree with Ritter here. Is likely the dominant fish at this point after turnin female. You'll likely see less swimming around going on. The other fish will likely establish some areas that they can stay in without constantly getting beat up pretty soon. Those clowns can get pretty dang mean. They're by no means non aggressive. You'll find stories of some that aren't, but just google aggressive clown fish and you'll get pages and pages of people who have this issue. I her clarki's and maroon are the worst.

yea I had 2 clarks and they beat up not only the other fish, but were to rough for the sebae. I now have 2 maroons that I love but my tank is a 90G long and they protect the sherman anemone to the point 1 attacks my hand everytime I reach in for feeding or anything else in the future I wouldn't mind looking at either a couple of true percs, saddlebacks or snowflakes.
