Jason will have to update us with the name... I don't remember at all.
All of these pics are taken in their display tank. It was at least 12' long. I tried to get full tank shots from far back... but couldn't because of the lights from outside reflecting off of the tank so bad. I didn't snag near enough pics of this tank. Mainly took these to show my dad. Lol... he has developed a curious mind about reef keeping and I show him things to try to persuade him into the hobby all the time. Haha.
Here's a pic of the basket they had setup with rock rubble in it. I thought this was a great idea. Looked great and gave them a good area to put clams, acans, mushrooms... whatever they might want in there. They could even have kept a smaller one in there hidden to net frags down. I like how they brought the rock from the back up into the rest of the tanks rock. It hid the basket well and didn't make it seem like a separate part of the tank.
This is as close to a "full tank shot" as I could get. The manager said it's only been up for 9 months or so... so it doesn't have the huge colonies yet. When I see the pic it doesn't do it a bit of justice. I assume all of the fish that were in the tank just decided to go onto the other side while I took the pic (it was approx 12ft long with a center overflow, literally in the center with around 18in out on all sides to the glass). So you're seeing one half of the tank width wise... and only one side of the tank.
I don't remember the name of this thing... but when I saw it I was impressed. Seeing it in this pic isn't so impressive though. Must not be real photogenic! lol
Nice big ol clam. Jason's hand for size.
I love these green birdsnests. I'll have me one someday. :-)
Finally a pink birdsnest. Took this so I could email my dad and say... that frag will end up looking like this!

Re: Dallas LFS
They also had freshwater. I have to admit to not paying a lick of attention to it though. All of their displayed fish stock was healthy though. They were having some trouble with a lot of their coral bleaching at the time. Thought it may have been related to the weather.

If you can't remember the name, do you remember where the store was? I'm always interested in finding new stores to check out in the area....
