Well, that didn't help, they must be wholesale, I don't wanna have to buy 200 elbows to get two. Shoot, I couldn't even find a link to order, thanks for the link tho.

Re: My next project a 2.5g pico reef! contest
90I do buy on ebay but what I'm looking for is something to make my ouput through my back wall. Like a 90*or 45* elbow but I need for it to be 1/4" barbed on one end and the other smooth so I can let it stick into the tank and still look good for return flow, if you can picture what I'm talking about. I need to come up from return pump and have a barbed T then go both ways to the 45* return through the wall. It needs to be 45* so the flow don't come out and go straight to the front glass, it needs to angle back toward the center of tank. If I had to get a 90* I could heat it and bend it a little so either one will do. I don't know if I want the quick connects or not.

Re: My next project a 2.5g pico reef! contest
Got a little more done on the pico today. I cut out and installed the false back wall, made a return flow spout, overflow grate, and siliconed the whole thing in place. I'm thinking about building a miniature filter basket to put floss and maybe a little carbon or chemipure in. I only have like 2-1/2" in there to put one because the heater is in that spot to. After water leaves that compartment it flows under a divider wall and into the Chaeto chamber, then overflows a divider wall into the pump compartment. The wall before the pump will keep a constant level in the heater and Chaeto compartments, any evaporation will take place in the pump compartment.
I also got my light in, its a 21 led light with 3 blue. After installing it in the hood and checking it out, I may have to order another and put two of them in the hood, it puts out enough light but its concentrated in the center so two may be necessary. The heater I'm using is a marineland 10watt fixed temp at 78 degrees. I should be able to put water in it tomorrow and give it a trial run, see if everything works as expected. Notice, I cut an emergency overflow just in case, if something stopped up the overflow water would flow over the emergency cutout instead of flooding.

Re: My next project a 2.5g pico reef! contest
Hey, what kinda light you using, I might can get a good deal on a 36white and 6 blue led fixture, I'm talkin to the guy now about getting one but he won't come down on the price for just one. The price is $39.00 + $6.00 shipping but looks like a good light, it is clip on with the flex neck. He's in Texas by Austin.

Re: My next project a 2.5g pico reef! contest
I got a link, you think MH on these lil tanks, what about heat? Mine is gonna be different though because I have a light hood on it and can't afford any heat, gotta be led. How big is yours? heck I only got 1.5 g in the display 1g more in the back. This will be perfect for me.
