You get a very sharp razor.
And just cut the pieces that you want off.
And what I do is just shove the bottom into a rock and they will attach within a week.

You can also lightly rubberband the pieces to rubble rock or frag plugs and they will attach then you can remove the rubberband.

mine has the tendency of fragging itself.... it drops limbs all the time.

both methods above work well tho Smile

i like using the rubberband because i can then place is where I want it, instead of letting it grow where it falls... (got some finger leather growing in places i definatly do not want it growing since an angelfish of mine decided it would be in my best intrest to destroy it by tearing it into a million pieces...)

I believe that! I've heard you can put mushrooms and kenya trees in a blender and dump them back in the tank and have a tank full of them. Maybe I'll try that one day...like Reef Mythbusters or something. Idea

Well if you're wanting to get rid of any hairy mushrooms frag it off, take the entire rock it was on out of the tank and then dump boiling water on the area it was.

No... seriously. lol. I took out a few hairy mushrooms like this when I was killing that crab but one that got 80% burnt off is already back to I'd say half it's size after a week.

The hairy mushroom that jason fragged completely off before I picked up my rock is already over an inch and a half wide again. It won't be long before I ALWAYS have hairy mushrooms and superman's for the coop. lol.
