we have 2 peices of this one is about 5 inches long by 2 inches the other is a rock bigger than a softball not sure what it is but it covers the rock and comes out when put to light. Sorry about the pics came from camera phone. [img]Any help appreciated.  Questi10[/img]

Also that red leafy thing in back it seems to grow but is very brittle its texture feels like a leaf or something of that nature.

I'm not sure what you're referring to in the first pic. The red leafy growth in the second pic appears to be a macro-algae . Not a problem unless it becomes invasive but a small tang should make short work of it.

How large of a tank ?

that is a 10 gallon there but i have a 55 gallon it came out of. First pic i'm refering to the pink hairy stuff coming out of the rock in front.
