I can't really remember what I gave away in the COOP so I'm going to try to organize better by keeping track of it all in one thread. This is mostly off the top of my head so if you gave me something and I forgot or got something from me not listed here let me know. It's been a little over 3 months since we started this and it might be time to give some updates on donated frags. Not to say that it's time to frag and give back but just updates on progress to keep the program going.

Items Donated

Green Sinularia
matt_longview (Donated to another member)
JoseH (frag died)
Beasta (no response. I think tank was taken down, no word on what he did with the coral)

The green sinularia, frogspawn and montipora digitata are great. The purple tipped acro fell off and got hidden under the sand...so I quite literally lost it.

Same here. Digita is starting to take off. That's scary because those things grow like weeds once they get going.

Update on Ritter's frag donations

Purple Xenia..looking good, took a week or so to become comfortable, still not pulsing (but they do say that they can take ages, or sometimes, in change of environment, not pulse), no matter a lovely looking coral in my mind.
Green Sinularia - wow does this hate to be attached. I tried in my tank and it managed to escape banding and super glue, now in Mrs Y's nano and it seems to be happy.
Toadstool, taking it's time to acclimatise, but fingers coming out more and more, I may have it in the wrong place, not certain, as my other off Jason is a ball of tentacles.
Finally - Blue Snowflake Polyp... I love this, the frag had been damaged in transit, so I actually got 5 frags, from dime size to just 2 polyps. The dime is in Mrs Y's nano, and looking good. The others are in mine, even the 2 polyp mini piece, which superglued to a rock and came out and is happy.
All these are co-op pieces, and as they grow, when I can...and know how to split them, will be offered into the co-op.

BTW Jason, the rock you gave to Mrs Y with the Kenya tree on, a piece broke off.. I stuck it into a hole on a rock..and I have a Kenya tree firmly established.

I figured I'd start a new thread on attaching those soft corals.

Gabe-

I lost the Cespitularia. I guess new lighting was too much for it. Moved it a couple of times, but just couldn't keep it going.
Sinularia is doing well and I could probably frag a piece back into the coop.
Toadstool - dang near lost it, but it is coming back now and growing again. Be a while before it would be ready for any fragging.

OK, so no work tomorrow, sat up reading late, as one does, and I stood and looked into the tank, and checked on the 2 blue snowflake polyp.
This in a sense, other than not wishing to throw even a tiny fragment away, was also in a way my thermometer, on how the tank is doing. Counting to two I've found easy, two eyes, two ears, two hands, two feet, two snowflake polyps... all's well in the world.
I just went and did my usual check, and then looked more closely, 1, 2. Good...3,4,5,6,7,8..whoa!
The other 3 broken frag's all looked to be doing very well, but growth is difficult to gauge, but a development from 2 to 8, OK the others are small, but well, come on admit it you Reefer's. It's a great feeling. To see growth in your tank!

Absolutely. I had a frag of zoas go from about 10 polyps down to two... I was tempted to just throw it out, but now it's back up to 11 polyps. Great feeling!

This thread is a great example of how the co op should work in my opinion. Thanks Matt for updating things as they become large enough to frag back out to others.

Absolutely. The coop got me up and running... off to a quick start. I can't wait till my stuff is large enough to help do the same for others!

And btw... here's an updated pic of the frogspawn taken tonight.

Another benefit of the coop thread. I read earlier that gabe lost his digitatas. A good sized frag is headed his way first thing this week of his own coral!!!

Brown Montipora Digitata available for the coop. Great coral to gauge if your tank is ready for SPS.

A great time to pickup would be at the tank tours this Saturday!

OK an update on Gabes Co-op frags.

Green Sinularia. It took ages to grow, but has recently thrown a small independent stem, still only about 3mm / 1/4 inch tall, but on a piece of rock that I may be able to frag off.
Gabe if it's safe to cut off a branch to frag, then I may be able to add another one or two.

Toadstool, growing nicely, about an inch diameter.

Purple Xenia. One of my favourites and was hit by the same brown mold that seemed to kill off the Snowflake, but keeping to the fact that a coral doesn't quit easily, it's coming back, and has about 15 heads.

Snowflake. This seemed to be wiped out by a brown slime in the old 30G tank. I was so disappointed, but I kept the rock to which it had spread, and also Mrs Y had a rock. A move of tanks, and I now have a lovely mound in one tank, and a second smaller patch in my 75G. I've also given some to Bryan911 (quiet member) along with some long waving hands, and other softies.
I'm hoping to frag this more, if folks would like some.

Yellow Polyp Leather, known as Houdini, (How come so many of my corals get names?) so any ways, Houdini escaped, a elastic band, 2 elastic bands crossed over, a crossed zip tie cage, but not.. the shot glass with a shell in the bottom. Infact it attached quite quickly. It now resides in Mrs Y's 6G Nano, growing slowly, but looking healthy.

And if the Hammer head that Matt shows is the son/daughter of the one I have, then that has gone from 3 to 8 heads, and looking great.

Yellow leather has flourished it is now 3-4 inches in size, I got a toadstool from someone at the frag swap, it is still only 2 heads but they have grown to about 1 inch in size (very slow grower). I do not dose anything and I just switched to LED's 3 weeks ago, but I do change 15-20 pct of my water every 2 weeks.
