Re: Green Pond Water
I'm not a pond keeper, but in the UK some of the folks used to say that Straw, as in the stuff put in the animal pens helped, but from what I've heard generally it's an in line UV light that is the key. BUT.. then again in the UK the pond rarely got over 70F, and generally would be lower than 65F.

Chemical filtration if some kind. I would check specific pond products... but you should be able to vodka dose. Read up on it...let us know what you find out.

Straighten out the ph before you add any chemicals or the algae will never go away. After you adjust the ph the algae will be manageable.

Re: Green Pond Water
Get your nitrate levels down by removing any organic matter from the bottom and water changes. (Assuming this is a smaller pond. ) Fresh-cut hay / baled will work as well. It helps promote the microorganisms that feed on algae.
I don't recommend a UV unless it's feeding a really good mechanical filter. You're killing the algae and it returns to the pond to rot and produce more nitrate.
If you have fish , don't use a flocculant (kills all the algae and makes it sink so the filter can get it easier) unless you have realllllllllly good aeration . They'll suck the oxygen out of the water PDQ. (Ask me how I know. )
