Re: Red Turquoise Discus 4-5"
I love the discus! I kept freshwater fish for years and never had any but always wanted them. I hope to do a tank for them one day. I would have discus if I didn't keep reef tanks. What's recommended tank size?

Depends on how many you want to keep. I have a few in a 37 gal hex that do fine. But I also have 120 gal full of them. I use 29 gal tanks to keep my breeding pairs in. They really don't need that much room for their size.

Do you have any links to some good reading about their care? This might be something I'd be interested in doing. I recently have a 37 gal. tank that I need to either take down or find something different to do with it.

Heres a good link. There are so many opinions though on Discus. The basic rule is always the same though CLEAN WATER.
