Got an email today that says my drill bits should be here no later than the 10th. It seems that my order was never processed even though they told me that they had shipped. I told them that if they are not delivered by the 11th then I will file a claim with paypal to get my money back.

Anyway, I did start my water and rock in another tank so when my real tank is finished my water and rock should be good to go. right now all i have is a 10g tank with water and liverock running with 2 HOB filters running carbon and chemi-pure elite, and just a bit of light.

I hate waiting Sad

pics were taken during the first run with RO/DI water only. Will be building the rock scape this week . Really just watching evap , and temp swings from MH. Not sure , but may order an ice probe chiller if the heat gets crazy. I took a really old POS end table/cabinet, that was in our garage to run this until I can go to IKEA and find a cool stand for it.

Couple of FTS :

Watched the video, and has to say it... "Good sized white dog fish I saw swimming past in the background, or was it a Box'er fish?"
I like the way the lighting unit is fitted, gives does it cantilever to sit on the tank, or will you just place glass on the top?

the legs on the light are hinged but will be gone when I hang the light.

and yes "box'er fish" are super rare, but are not reef safe. Laughing

Its on about 5-10% in short pulse mode, and it is just a hair above the lowest pulse setting. any higher and it throws the water out of the tank

I'm going to love when someone makes a pump of that quality that has smaller flow. :-)

Matt
I have a brand new mp10 I got for Christmas, I have used it for a few minutes to stir up ditritus in my tank, they are cool, you can make it do just about anything. I just can't find a reason to use it full time as my two pumps on the 28g make the perfect current, it might be up for sale soon.

Its the ecosmart with the smart driver, pretty cool, you can set it to do all sorts of things. Around $220.00 retail.

I haven't put up the for sale sign yet! I may keep it just to use every once in a while. BTW, you better be careful with those waves in that cube, I read a post where a fella was doing that and his cube came apart, to much stress on the glass seams. I don't like the pulse settings on mine, I just like the speed up and slow down.
