I'm putting a media basket, with cheato, chemi-pure elite and purigen off to one side just like my 29g. It will also hold my heater and the return pump.

Re: Matt's 10G Contest Nano
I'm going to snag this light for the tank:
http://reefkoi.com/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=20&products_id=2066
A little less light than the others, for a little less cost. That's actually exactly what I was hoping for. I'd rather keep more low light corals in here that I'm unable to keep in my 29g because of the par being too high in it.

I like the self contained effect with the built in fan idea

Matt , if you havent already ordered that light I think you may want to take a second look at the rapid led Par 38. Just got mine and the color is awsome, also they just lowered it to $89 .

Re: Matt's 10G Contest Nano
So my wife straight up asked me to not setup the 10g. She really loves this 37g tall bowfront tank that I picked up and asked me if I would move all of this rock and everything from my current 29g over into it instead of setting up a second tank.
Thinking it through... I decided it sounded like a great idea. I'll be able to move my big tank into the living room and out of the dining room (which is crowded now since we got a much longer dining room table). So... now just wish me luck convincing her that I need to put this tank on a 48" by 18" stand. And with a 40g breeder for a sump... yes... I'm planning the sump and stand to hold a future 120g. :-D

ummm...... a 120g tank is 48x24, not 48x18. might want to rethink current stand .

Re: Matt's 10G Contest Nano
I'm so glad you don't live locally, with a 120G tank to your standards, I may have been tempted to offer to childmind one evening and let the two of you have an evening out, make a camp on the floor infront of the tank, and you would find the 3 (?) of us sat there when you got home having a midnight feast. Of course they would then be hyper from sugar rush, but that's ok.... I would be off home :-)
In short, I'm looking forward to watching the project, 37, or 120.

:-)
Yeah, didn't even get a drop of water in it. I've got the tank, heater and pump for it. That's everything I needed so I think I'm going to set it up as a qt tank.
