It's crazy isn't it? I'm curious if he will change colors again since he's in a new tank with different lighting.

He did wipe out a blue damsel but the fish wasn't doing well anyway. He seems to be playing nice with the 2 damsels in there now.

its cool... i caught the lantern basslet gabe, so your mantis is safe for now... i had to COMPLETLY tear my reef apart to catch it tho.... and it doesnt look anything like it did before, and i got 2 dozen frags out of place... its a damned shame really.

He has his moments. Sometimes I can't get him to show even for food and sometimes I can tap on the glass and he pops out. He has "homes" set up all over this new tank. You never know what little cave he's going to show up in. He has little spots under the rocks where he digs out sand and lines it with shells and he has holes in the rocks that he weaves in and out of. His strikes are getting louder too. I say he but very well could be a she. If anyone has an opportunity to keep one of these I highly recommend it.
