Re: Project 105
The superman monti is a pain in the booty! Mine was always going back and forth. One little change and it would darken up. Might try another one in my new tank to see if I have better luck this time.

Lol. That was a bit depressing I guess. Sorry!
I think Ritter got mine. Maybe he will give you his experience with it.

It's awesome!!! Mine darkened and lightened while I was struggling with phosphates but it's been locked in for a while now. Growing really fast now. I'll put pics up tommorrow when I'm not on my phone.

Re: Project 105
I have mine high in the tank underneath a power head so it's getting good light and flow. It was growing well and colored up a nice blue at first and I started having nutrient issues so it stopped growing for a while and the blue got really dark. I started running a carbon/gfo reactor recently and I did too much too fast and over shot the color and it started to bleach. I think I have everything settled now and it has been a nice color for a few months now and it's starting to really grow fast. This was one of the first sps corals I had so it survived all my learning experiences. Where it encrusts over the rock it wipes out a clean area ahead of it. It's a fast grower if everything is in check. Keeping sps has really helped me learn how to run a tank properly. I think if I knew what I was doing to begin with the growth would have been a lot better. I never fixed it to anything either and it had to attach itself to the rock. This is a pic from a few weeks ago. It's getting bigger everyday. One of my favorites.

Re: Project 105
I'M SORRY!!! Lol. We have a small group here but it's a good one so at least there is activity. We do tend to veer off subject sometimes but it's all good. At least we didn't get started on hunting or fishing then your thread would be really screwed!Bryan wrote:I like how this turned into ritters thread, LOL

Wish I could take credit for that, but Win used it in my thread on another forum a while back. I thought it was funny and appropriate in this case.
